Wie Ist Staatstheoretische Grundlagenforschung Möglich? Entwurf und Strategie

Abstract

In the present situation of the Hungarian political science, a critical review of paradigmatic trends of research in political theory and the elaboration of a new direction, concept and fundamental terms of the research – closely linked to the European political science tradition – has become inevitable. The ultimate goal of the research is the creation of a reflexive theory of the state, which is constructed as the theory of the object (state) and its observer (political science) at the same time, and in this form serves as the meta-theory of political sciences. The study is based on the conviction that a reflexive theory of the state can only be elaborated within the framework of fundamental research.
