The Hungarian Public Law Structure: Local Governments István Egyed on Local Governments
Abstract
This brief publication is based on a memorial conference lecture. The study examines Professor Egyed’s perception of local governments. The writing is an attempt to point out any continuity with contemporary and current perceptions regarding local government reform ideologists. The conclusion is that the autonomy of local governments has become more functional, limited in nature, which in terms of its historical continuity and international comparison is going in the opposite direction.
