Agricultural Land as a Natural Resource

  • Hornyák Zsófia

Abstract

The fundamental methodology of the study is a comparative legal method, because in the work we analysed and compared the constitutions of European Union Member States from the following aspects: which constitutions include provisions to natural resources or to agricultural lands and what kind of protection belongs to these. The main aim of the research was to analyse what kind of provisions can be found in our Fundamental Law with regard to other countries in relation to agriculture. The constitutional examination is relevant in connection with the author’s broader research topic because of justification and in relation to the constitutional provisions of acquisition of ownership’s restrictions, which were introduced by the Land Transaction Act.
