Review of Dušan Janák’s Book

Abstract

The purpose of the review is to present and recommend a book entitled The Institutionalisation of Sociology in Central Europe – A Comparative Study on the Formation of Sociological Institutions in Poland, the Czech Lands, Slovakia and Hungary in the First Half of the 20th Century, published in 2014. The author analyses the beginning of the scientific appearance of sociology in Central European countries.
