The journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. There are no Open Access fees or charges (APCs) charged to either authors or readers.

Articles published in the first five volumes are licensed under CC-BY-NC-ND license. Articles published in the sixth and subsequent volumes are licensed under CC-BY 4.0 license.
