Manifestations of Threats to National Security in the Field of Legislation

Abstract

There are several phrases in the security studies and in the intelligence community for endangering national security, such as: new challenges, national security risks, endangering national security, threats. The study attempts to present the technical terms used in Hungarian legislation. The aim of the author is to shed light on the fact that in the defence system it often occurs that the terms are not used uniformly.
The study draws attention to the fact that there are levels of threat to national security
that should be followed in professional terms as well.
