The Islamic State and the Intelligence

Abstract

The study assesses the terrorist tendencies, the global jihadism, the appearance of the Islamic State, and the threats posed by new type of terrorism. The main focus is directed on the fight against the Islamic State. It is emphasised that all kind of intelligence and international cooperation is needed in collection of informations concerning IS. The author stresses the importance of a proxy intelligence as well.
