Abstract

The Hungarian government accepted the Hungarian Security Strategy in 2012, which is on the highest level among different strategies. On the next level of the hierarchy we can find the sector-specific strategies, for examples the National Security Strategy.

In this essay, the writer examines the effective legal and sector-specific circumstances of formation of National Security Strategy. The necessity of creation of national sectorspecific security strategy and the positive effects thereof are emphasized through statements. Those elements of content which are thought to be important to be incorporated into a prospective strategy are examines and proposals are defined concerning to their improvement and importance.
