Abstract

The author describes the ideas of foreign and security policy of first Hungarian goverment selected after transition, introduces and analyzes actual strategy development documents are considered basic security principles in the context of foreign policy processes. Furthermore wants to introduce stable and variable elements of conditions of goverment’s policy started the election campaign’s ideas and ended the results and failures achieved at the end of cycle. The search of identity and ways out in the 90’s and the analysis of accepted security principles were reviewed. Based on that, author wants to draft the transformation of national security system and new challenges and frameworks of national security sector, the strategic tasks related to foreign and security policy in particular.
