Abstract

The people have always treated information about secret police, spies, and avoidance as hoaxes. Therefore, it is important to know how the secret police in Hungary was formed, and from which sources can we know about it. In parallel with the formation of the Hungarian police, the police-, and public administration experts, and the jurists shortly mentioned the secret police of the state. From these people emerges Győző Concha, who has dealt with the secret police in two of his major works.
