Adalékok Redl ezredes esetéhez, avagy a Monarchia leghíresebb árulójának máig ható tanulságai

Abstract

The article gives a short overview of the case Redl. It publishes two, till now unedited documents from the Austrian National Archive, the first about Redl’s brother and his activities, the second one about the order of the chief of the general staff of the army about vetting the members of the general staff. The article analyses the case from the counterintelligence point of view and offers some new approaches and argumentations regarding still discussed points. Also presents the negative impact of the corps spirit of the general staff on the case and higlights the changes in itself.
