Az Osztrák Magyar Monarchia központi katonai felderítő és elhárító szervezete az első világháború idején
Abstract
The Evidenzbureau, founded in 1850, was the central directorate of the military intelligence and later the counter-intelligence of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. Part of the Evidenzbureau was the offensive and defensive intelligence and counter intelligence groups, including the Russian, Italian, Balkan, political and registrar (so called Manipulationsgruppe) groups. During the First World War, the importance of the Bureau was on the rise; the relatively new task of intercepting radio transmissions was added to its traditional functions.
