Absztrakt
Kanada a NATO tagjaként Magyarországgal közös szövetségi rendszerben van, mégis, az Amerikai Egyesült Államokkal vagy az Egyesült Királysággal összehasonlítva kevés ismeretünk van titkosszolgálatának működéséről. Pedig a kanadai hírszerzés története hosszú múltra tekint vissza. Fejlődésében találunk úttörő vállalkozásokat, de súlyos botrányokat egyaránt. Jelen tanulmány rövid áttekintést nyújt arról, hogy miként vált a kanadai hírszerzés az irreguláris lovas felderítőkből a világ egyik legjelentősebb hírszerző közösségének tagjává, bemutatva a mai kanadai hírszerző közösség felépítését.
