Some Ideas about the Role of Information – from a Personal Point of View

Abstract

The information as an expression is one of the most frequently used terms of our life and activities. When we use this expression, its origin and meaning are not always clear. We almost never think about how the information is generated, what is the base of information, and which are its most important features. We never think about whether the information is constant or may change under certain circumstances.
The purpose of the present study is to follow some earlier studies about the use of information, to disclose some very important characteristics of information from the point of view of law enforcement, security, national security ant counter-terrorism.
