Abstract

Two expert’s summaries are in the focus of the study about the impacts of extreme weather conditions and climate change in Hungary concerning urban settlements, energy sector and transport, as well, as the human health. Before the Tables, counting 12 weather extremes and 9 local features of climate change, the most important weather extremes are characterised. Finally, the other factors determining the degree of harms, commonly called exposure and vulnerability, are indicated together with the possible actions to mitigate the harms.
