Abstract

On 1 July 2015, a new career model was introduced in the field of law enforcement, a significant segment of Hungarian public service. This is the first of a two-part article, which discusses the preparations executive organizations have carried out since 2010, the concepts they drew up, the way they professionally grounded and elaborated on the career model, and the response professional advocacy groups gave to strategic documents.
