New Challenges of Speaker Recognition in Forensic Science

Abstract

The method of speaker recognition has changed significantly in the past decade due to the appearance of voice biometrics. The emergence of voice biometrics was an important landmark in forensic science, at the same time a number of challenges were associated with it. Voice biometrics systems provide data which must be evaluated from different aspects in addition to the comparison and validation of certain systems that must be provided according to a uniform standard.
