doi: 10.32567/hm.2021.2.2

Abstract

The third article of our second series presenting the military aspects of light and visibility continues the previous topic with the conditions, circumstances, means and requirements of battlefield illumination. Due to the size of the topic, we present it in three separate subchapters. The first dealt with the environment and tools that influence battlefield vision and their grouping. The requirements, specifications and equipment were discussed in the second part. The third subchapter consists of an overview of the light support and blackout situation in wartime. Overall, we showed the difficulties, opportunities and requirements of past and current service duties made in the most dynamic and challenging conditions, in three separate parts based on each other.
