Compliance with the requirements of sustainable development is now essential in achieving the government’s energy policy objectives, in which the field of environmental and industrial safety is playing an increasingly important role. In this article, the author identifies environmental and industrial security strategic goals – set out in government strategy documents – that serve sustainable development.
