Kh-47M2 „Kinzhal” Air-Launched Hypersonic Missile

Abstract

In the Russian-Ukrainian war, that started on 24
February, a number of weapons were used that
we had little information before, and even their existence was not known. One such weapon is the Kh-47M2 “Kinzhal” air-launched hypersonic missile. In my publication, I would like to introduce this device, including the history of its development and a brief history of the achievement of hypersonic speeds, as well as the articles in the press which claim that the Ukrainian army shot down such a device.
