Application of Virtual Production to Optimize Industrial Production Units

doi: 10.32560/rk.2023.2.4

Abstract

Nowadays, the introduction of modern technological innovations into the production processes of companies is essential. One way to do this is virtual commissioning, which we chose as a topic of our research project. The purpose of our research is implementing the steps of a real production system in a virtual environment using the Tecnomatix Plant Simulation, which is a 3D simulation
program. This virtual solution enables simple optimization of the given production unit by implementing a more efficient and time-saving production. The article describes the concept and application of virtual modelling, as well as the operation of the simulation program and the results achieved in it.
