Abstract
The EU framework that regulates the use of unmanned aerial vehicles introduced at the beginning of 2021
requires a number of mandatory competencies for those who wish to use such devices. The authors present the EU framework and the supplementary Hungarian detailed rules in the article. The EU regulations cover areas that are generally regulated, and the Hungarian rules cover the uncontrolled areas where additional competence elements need to be met.
