Protection of the Private Sphere in the Use of Unmanned Aircraft

doi: 10.32560/rk.2023.1.4

Abstract

As a result of technological progress and the growing trend of digitalisation, the protection of an individual’s privacy is facing new challenges to which regulation also needs to respond. The use of unmanned aircraft is spreading very dynamically, but widespread use raises a number of issues affecting the private sphere and the right to informational self-determination. In connection with the use of drones, the protection of privacy can not only be traced back to the Fundamental Law of Hungary, but also a criminal liability structure is attached to it.
