Experiences Gained by the Certification of the Magnus Fusion 213

doi: 10.32560/rk.2022.1.9

Abstract

Paramount experiences resulted during development and certification testing of the first indigenous Hungarian-designed airplane under EASA type investigation process.  In our publication, a short summary of the certification process is described. Moreover, the sensors and loggers used by the test flights are shown as well. The complexity of the certification flight testing is shown with two examples:  the lateral stability and climb performance test. The data  acquisition and telemetry system developed for the  optimization of dynamic behaviour of the airplane is also  shown.
