Abstract
The largest challenge both in the past and in the upcoming years is the cooperative control of autonomous vehicles. In several relations like UAV–UGV, and UAV–USV there are many scenarios (like close formation control, UAV recce flight missions, UAV refuelling using UGV, UAV landing on moving vehicles like ground or surface vehicles etc.), when autonomous vehicles are forced to cooperate to improve their mission effectiveness and other safety issues. Main goal of the author is to highlight few of those UAV flight scenarios listed above, and to present the main cooperative control strategies.
