Evaluation of the Detection Possibilites of Aircrafts with Low Radar Cross-Section

  • Pártos Sándor

Abstract

Aircrafts, using stealth technology, are becoming more and more common in nowadays’ airspace. There are either stealth manned and unmanned aircrafts. As the unmanned aerial vehicles are applied not only for military, but civilian duties, therefore the airspace is getting increasingly congested. It is dangerous because the detection of these targets is almost as difficult as the detection of a stealth manned aircraft. The purpose of my work is to highlight the necessity of detecting these aerial vehicles, and to make a proposion, how to solve this problem. My opinion is that my topic is very interesting in the air defence’s and air traffic safety’s point of view.
