Electro-acoustic Procedures for Aircraft Detection

Abstract
The determination of the position and movement of the aircraft is possible from the sound waves emitted by them. It is used for air defense early in the process - with modern instruments - may be particularly valuable in the case of objects in low radar reflectivity. Through a few examples - that are still not widely used - electroacoustic procedures are presented which provide useful information for the organizers of civil aviation in addition to the air defense.
