Abstract

Due to the program, the Hungarian aircraft industry, which was rudimentary by European standards, went through a phase of enormous development. Hungarian experts participated in the development of the aircraft and learnt the manufacturing technology of welded half shells. They also improved their skills in the organization of production, as they mastered the fundamentals of business management, manufacturing and quality control.
