Reasonable Regulation or Prohibition: What Can We Do with the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles?

  • Major Gábor

Abstract

In all cases of appearance of new items, the members of society form spontaneausly two large groups. This novelty can be a gastronomical craftiness or a technological-scientific innovation or a plan of a legal regulation. In such cases-the genetic encoding can be the reason for this phenomenon- two groups will come into existence undoubtedly: a supporting and an opposing one revealing itself as vehemently as the former group. It can not be otherwise in the case of use of unmanned aircraft systems, as well. The technological development of UASs is being carried out intensively. The number of alternative possibilities of their application is more and more everyday. But can every user apply properly the suitable feasibility for their demands? What kind of regulatory, ethical, technological and social questions should be solved? This bulletin offers a brief review of the relevant Hungarian publications and contains the conclusions of the author.
