Abstract
According to experience, at busy aerodromes aircraft use up 2–4% of their fuel provided for the flight until they reach the runway, and after landing while taxiing to their parking areas, meanwhile stopping and holding several times. This is unfavourable not just because of the price of the large quantity of fuel wasted, but also because of the high operating costs and deprecation of the engines working during these processes, and because of the sufficient environmental pollution caused. To eliminate these unfavourable phenomena there are several technical solutions, adaptation of which might be considered at our domestic aerodromes as well.
