Risk Analysis of Airport Fire Fighting Responses

Abstract

Risks occurring during aircraft accidents may affect the success of fire emergency services. Risk analysis is required to ensure safe operations, successful rescue of personnel, objects and reliable extinguishing of fire. I applied the project risk assessment method for analysing risks of airport fire responses. Risks of execution and psychosocial risks of operational staff are proved to be the most significant based on the results of risk assessment. Safety of crew and passengers as well as chance of their survival raises by the implementation of the proposed risk reduction measures.
