Situation Assessment Regarding the Connection Between Airport and Noise Load

Abstract

As a function of the actual task, the environment protection analyses cover the exploration of the environmental situation studied; however, recognition of the cause-effect relations and the changes in environment use usually fade into the background. This also applies in respect of the aviation and airport operation. Most of the people establish relation between air traffic environmental load and noise load; they assess the acceptable environmental conditions as a function of noise impact. As a consequence, when discussing gentle use of the environment, both at the level of the individual and of the society, noise load shall represent the focus. This raises a series of questions, since there is an almost constant conflict due to noise between the user of the environment and the subjects of the environment affected. Managing the environmental dialogue conflict to study the actual, aviation related noise situation and air traffic. Hereby we shall report the result of our studies conducted in this matter.
