Ikarosz Sons at the Nagykunsag (Great Cumania) - Part IV.

Abstract

At the days of 1955/56 year the regiment was experiencing the daily life. At the regiment students, and officers were trained. During the flight accidents happened as well. The winds of change touched the regiment as well. During the revolution, the unit stayed together. In november, the regiment surrendered to the Russians. The airport was in the hands of the Russians. The Russians disarmed the regiment. The regimental commander met over military duties. During the retaliation, the regimental commander and more soldier weree in prison. The regiment was disbanding in 1957. The jets, and the soldiers were collected. They were organized in new units.
