The Gained Experice of Hungarian Military Air Traffic Controllers from Aerodormes in Area of Operations

Abstract
The Hungarian military air traffic controllers have been serving at aerodromes in the area of operations during long and short term periods since the early 2000s. At the beginning, meanwhile the Balkan wars, at Pristina airport, Kosovo was controlled by ATCs including Hungarian soldiers. Nowadays they are serving especially in the aerodromes of Afghanistan, where they should manage also the civilian and military air traffic. The gained experiences were collected according to a questionnaire, which is based on some important issues of aerodrome controlling procedures.
