Fundamental Engineer Tasks of Demolished Airfields’ Repairs

Abstract

According to safety experts the chance for warlike conflicts among coalitions is continually decreasing because of cold war cessation. Despite of this, we cannot preclude an armed conflict when an airfield attacked as a military target and demolished insomuch that not able to function normally, so it requires partial or complete repairs. In the past years experts concentrated their research work on terrorist attacks and pointed out that in case of an attack the complete demolition of the airfield is not feasible. In the past years only a few publication were issued about engineer tasks of demolished airfield repair, therefore in this article we present the manner to demolish airfields during an armed conflict as well as the essential requirements and engineer tasks of airfields’ repairs.
