Computer Based Performance Analysis for Helicopter Operation in Performance Class 1

Abstract

In our recent accelerated and information abundance world fast processing of information is a key opportunity. The situation is the same in the case of flight planning. Applications managing the navigation and performance databases together have a decade of history in case of large aeroplanes and are available on board too (FMCS). Manufacturers of small aircrafts having less production number generally do not supply such solutions. This is particularly the case with helicopters. This paper describes a performance analysis application developed for multi-engine helicopters which is also well usable in addition to the increasingly fine cloud-based navigation applications.
