Selection of Data Acquisition System For a Micro Gas Turbine Test Bench Used in the Research for Alternative Fuels

Abstract

The various gas turbine engines widely spread in aviation are also prone to the diminishing resources of fossil fuels. There were several researches regarding alternative fuels, present investigation tries to look further and does not only focus on changes in thermodynamic and emission properties of the gas turbine itself, but tries to create an insight on system level differences like operation, service, etc. Nevertheless, the primary goal is to identify the changes of gas turbine working process, and for this reason a small gas turbine test bench is to be produced. The goal of the present article is to provide an overview of the selection of data acquisition system, with special emphasis on the planned usage beyond the reach of the research as an educational equipment.
