Application of Fibre Reinforced, Aluminium and Specialized Steel Alloys in Air-Craft Flight Control Systems

Abstract

The applied materials and production methods of flight control systems of air vehicles (aircrafts, helicopters) significantly changed and advanced in the last 30-40 years in the aviation industry. We can write similarly about the design technique procedures. Design and manufacturing methods are inseparable because the base of product development is the integrated computer aided engineering process from sketch to final assembly. This scientific article presents the main requirement of flight control systems, up-to-date structural load calculations, furthermore summarizes the construction techniques and manufacturing parameters of composite parts in the flight control mechanisms.
