The Significance of Overseas Flights in Developing Regional Airports of Central Europe

Abstract

The main objective of our paper is to examine the role that overseas flights, especially those arriving from China, may  play in the development of an area or region. Where and  how is it worth motivating the spread of overseas flights in  the development of regional airports? How may the development of passenger and freight transport benefit  from overseas flights, and what dangers may it bring with  itself for a region at the same time? It is well known that  s several regional airports of Central Europe deliberately  endeavour to launch overseas flights in order to increase  incoming tourism and freight transport. What experience have been brought by such efforts? Where and how to  undertake such investments in Hungary?
