Unmanned eVTOL aircraft, also known as drones, require advanced reliability and maintainability metrics for safe and efficient fleet operations. Beyond basic measures, drone-specific metrics offer a more accurate assessment. Technologies enabling predictive maintenance, such as health management and digital twins, are key. In the future, AI and blockchain will further enhance the effectiveness of these systems, promoting the safer and broader adoption of drone technology.
