Abstract
During engineering measurements and calculations, there is a parametric uncertainty that can be modeled and described by appropriate mathematical methods. The main purpose of the measurements of electric machines is to determine the accuracy of their characteristics. This study presents one of the main sources of parametric model uncertainty, and illustrates it by means of the results of student measurement groups through the example of determining the series excitation DC motor characteristic curve.
