The Environmental Impact of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) and its Formation during Freight Transport Processes

doi: 10.32562/mkk.2021.2.5

Abstract

The effects of climate change are present in all areas of life,  making them one of the most significant problem today.  One of the main reasons for its formation is the amount of  carbon dioxide (CO2) emitted into the atmosphere, which  affects our current climate through the greenhouse effect.  The present study is intended to support the study of  options for reducing CO2 emissions from freight transport  by describing the environmental impacts of CO2. My  present publication is intended to describe the environmental effects of carbon dioxide and the distribution of the mode of transport used during logistics  material handling. The aim of my study is to provide an  analysis of freight transport performance in a transport  mode, which can give a more complex picture concerning  which of the different freight transport methods is  dangerous in material handling activities. Describing the  environmental impacts of carbon dioxide as well as  knowledge of current transport trends provides a  comprehensive picture of the reasons why it is so important  to study the environmental impacts of road  freight transport.
