Drones in the Middle East

Abstract

The Middle East is a decisive conflict zone which demands continuous attention. Due to religious and ethnic  difficulties, there is no chance to decrease the number of  armed operations of military, paramilitary and terrorist  organisations. Nowadays, the role of drones or unmanned  aerial vehicles is increasing in these conflicts and this is the  reason why it is necessary to sum up the possibilities of  their usage. Besides, it is also necessary to look for high- tech solutions for troops serving in that area. In this study,  we identify those technical criteria which are essential for a  drone in operational environment supporting explosive  ordnance disposal soldiers.
