The Design Characteristics, and Major Parameters of Shaped Charges

Abstract

Although the explosives have vast history, within this the shaped charges are quite newborn. Since it’sinventing it become critical part of any system which uses this special device. It has unique role also in the military, and in the civilian field. Nowadays their science much more focusing in the precision engineering, to increase their performance with the lowest possible explosive usage. I summarize their history together with their relevant definitions, and characteristics.
