The System of Engineering Tasks of the Protection Against Disasters, the Requirements, Methods and Equipment to Implement Them
Abstract
The protection against disasters comprises a scope of complex tasks in all its three phases, which requires the implementation of engineering tasks, without which rescue, the protection of the population and property, the elimination of the consequences and the avoidance of the escalation of the situation cannot be successful. In this article, the author analyzes her options for increasing the resilience against disasters as a continuation of her analytical investigations as well as the major areas of engineering tasks to be performed to prevent disasters and during rescue tasks. In this context, she explores the concept, the purpose and the main tasks of preventive technical and engineering protection and then she imposed requirements against them. Based on her research, she formulates proposals for the interpretation, categorization of engineering tasks, as well as for the requirements, methods and tools for their implementation.
