Hungarian Reinforcement and Distribution the Beginnings History 1944 – 1948
Abstract
During the II. World War, over half a year between April 23, 1944 and April 4, 1945, about one million soldiers of the opposing parties fought the desperate battles in Hungary. As a result of the war, unprecedented amounts of mines, bombs and other explosive devices were used in Hungary's preventive history. Most of them exploded from the opposing sides and nearly half a million people from the civilian population destroyed tens of thousands of homes and public buildings, industrial facilities, transport and public utilities.
