Relationships between Environmental Protection and Technological Developments in Motor Vehicles, Particularly Bearing in Mind European Union Directives

Abstract

Nowdays we already started to experience the effects of climate change, the inappropriate for the season temperatures, the increase in temperature, and the signs of human migration that has already begun. What improvements should be made in the technological fields of motor vehicles to stop or at least slow down global warming? This article examines the current domestic regulatory environment, the relevant European Union directives, some areas of vehicle mechanics development, and possible environmen-tal and technical solutions that meet today’s requirements.
