Abstract

Introduction: This study examines contemporary trends and interdisciplinary directions in law enforcement science through a thematic and methodological analysis of presentations delivered at the international Colourful Faculty Conference of the Faculty of Law Enforcement.

Objectives: The aim of the paper is to explore how the presented research contributes to the renewal of law enforcement theory, education, and practice, as well as to the strengthening of international academic cooperation.

Methodologies: The study applies a narrative review approach, analysing the content of thirty presentations based on primary sources (presenters’ materials and empirical research findings) and selected secondary literature. The presentations were organised into thematic categories, with particular emphasis on the law enforcement applications of artificial intelligence, the expansion of internationalisation, and innovations in education and law enforcement practice.

The findings: The findings indicate that the analysed research increasingly addresses current challenges in law enforcement practice, with growing attention to issues related to technological development, child protection, national security, and social policy.

Conclusions: The study concludes that the professional outcomes of the conference extend beyond institutional boundaries and contribute to the further development of interdisciplinary research, as well as to the expansion of international educational and research collaborations.
