Abstract

The study focuses on the characteristics of the Police Café spreading in police practice, which make the method acceptable in the scientific community and research circles, and applicable in the field of law enforcement research as a research method. The investigation is undoubtedly a novelty, as it expands the relatively small number of well-known qualitative research methods in social science researches. The study brought to light results through the empirical application of the Police Café in research and through surveys conducted with the participants of the research. The revealed results can be useful in law enforcement research, higher education in law enforcement, and practical policing. Through this research, the scientific community gains access to a method that greatly adapts to the subject of law enforcement researches, while the police can also utilize the results in their organizational development program, ultimately laying the groundwork for societal benefits.
