How have Hungarian Aid Organisations Helped Ukrainian Refugees?

Abstract

The article tries to illustrate the humanitarian assistance in connection of the Russian-Ukrainian generated refugee waves, because of the complexity of the problem and the possibility that it can be divided into many stands the focus is more on the “how” and “what” can be done along the occurred events. From among respondents those aid organisations going to be presented which were ready from the beginning and by the mobilisation of the volunteers they tried to give help. Regarding the constant changes and the inaccessible data, the article does not undertake to distract the focus from the real helping activity because of uncertain statics. The article is built exclusively on internet resources, because the subject area’s literature is not available yet. In the two years following the outbreak of the Russian–Ukrainian war there has been no summary publication of the humanitarian collaboration shown by Hungarian aid organisations in response to the wave of refugees.
